The Western European and Other States Group (WEOG), has endorsed the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in partnership with Italy, to host the twenty sixth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 26), the sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 16) and the third session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 3).

Korea Climate and Meteorological Industry Exhibition 2020 (KCMIE 2020), Kintex, Korea, 23-25 September 2020

Korea Climate and Meteorological Industry Exhibition (KCMIE 2020) is Korea’s largest weather and climate industry fair hosted by the Korea Meteorological Administration.

KCMIE provides an arena of customized business for the real market entry of meteorology companies, hosts various additional events to explore weather and climate industry trends and raise interest in weather and climate, concurrently hosts relevant industry fairs for synergy effect of the fair.

Korea Meteorological Institute (KMI)

Meteorological Technology World Expo 2020, Paris, France, 22-24 September, 2020

A global event attracting around 200 exhibiting companies and 4,000 attendees from over 100 countries, Meteorological Technology World Expo is a truly international exhibition of the very latest climate, weather and hydro-meteorological forecasting, measurement and analysis technologies and service providers for a worldwide community of key decision makers within the aviation industry, shipping companies, marine/port installations, airports, military operations, off-shore exploration companies, wind farm operators, met offices, agricultural operations and research institutes.

European Meteorological Society Annual Meeting 2020, Bratislava, Slovakia, 7-11 September 2020

Dates: 6th – 8th July 2020

Venue: Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Asia Climate Forum (ACF) is the dedicated climate change & environmental services event for Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands. Held annually in Singapore, it comprises three complementary events – InterMET Asia (launched in 2014 and now its 7th edition), InterFLOOD Asia (3rd edition) and InterAIR Asia.

In 2020, Asia Climate Forum will be officially part of CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. Organised by the National Environment Agency and co-located with Singapore International Water Week and the World Cities Summit, this will be the largest environmental event for SE Asia and the Pacific Islands held under one roof with more than 25,000 participants expected to attend the events.

ACF Exhibition 6-8 July

The ACF exhibition will comprise three distinct ‘Zones’ and features next to CleanEnviro SG on the ground floor by the main entrance:

  • InterMET – Weather & Climate Change Zone
  • InterFLOOD – Flood & Water Management Zone
  • InterAIR – Air Quality & Pollution Zone
  • ‘ACF Business Presentation Theatre’ in the exhibition area for exhibitors to give either commercial presentations or End User Clinics – where weather affected enterprises meet product & service providers
ACF Conference 7-8 July

The overall ACF conference theme is ‘Urbanisation and the need to build the resilience and adaptability of business, essential services and critical infrastructure to the increasing impact of extreme weather & climate change‘.

The ACF conference will comprise a 2-day core programme on, with 3 parallel conferences InterMET, InterAIR and InterFLOOD. These will be a mix of presentations, workshops and panel sessions covering extreme weather & climate change; flood & water management; and air quality & pollution.

There will also be two 1-day Global Weather Enterprise Forum workshops, 6 & 9 July, supported by the World Bank-GFDRR with a new focus on current and future projects update briefings including industry briefings by project specialists (details to be confirmed).

Asia Climate Forum is part of the international co-operation framework comprising the World Bank, the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction & Recovery (GFDRR), the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO), and the Association of the Hydro-Meteorological Equipment Industry (HMEI). Supporters include the Singapore National Environment Agency and Meteorological Services Singapore.
