DUH1 is an all-weather Dual-Band Automatic Cloud Amount Observation System; It is composed of two sub-systems—visible light system and infrared system.
According to the different characteristics of the cloud shown at the visible light spectrum and infrared band, the DUH1 can automatically observe the cloud amount continuously in all-weather, it will collect the real-time visible image and infrared brightness temperature image of whole sky, and calculate the cloud amount data. This system has both advantages of intuitive data and high space-time resolution from optical imaging technology of visible light and the advantages from infrared technology for multilayer cloud observation and night observation. Thus, it can provide a more complete, accurate and real-time data of total cloud amount, as well as data of partial cloud amount. The WUSH - 3000 ground meteorological observation system is an automatic meteorological station design based on CAN bus technology and embedded system technology.
